I have travelled the world and DJ’d back in day too. When I picked up Maryanne album I was absolutely blown away. Her voice is beautiful and the beats are off the chain. I can't find a bad track on the entire album. This is my top pick for Neo-Soul/R&B category for 2014 and is THE blowout album of the summer. It’s a "MUST HAVE” for any serious music lovers collection. Don't sleep on this one YA'LL.. DJ DonJuan Denver, Colorado...

You know, i get a ton of new music sent to me every week via e-mail and every social media platform i'm on and to be honest with you, 95% of it is either mediocre or just straight up trash. But then along came Maryanne Ito, a really dope R&B/Neo-Soul artist from Hawaii (!!!), I heard 3 tracks and was sold IMMEDIATELY and copped her album "Waking Up" on CD Baby. Soulful songs with great melodies and production, clearly influenced by Erykah Badu and Jill Scott . If you consider yourself a lover of quality R&B/Neo-Soul, then you really need this in your lives!
